Minutes for March 2020 Meeting
This meeting was held on February 29 at the Ft Christmas field and called to order at 10:05 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Eight members were present.
Minutes of the February meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer’s report was not available.
Old Business
Our plan for temporary removal of yellow posts on the Christmas filed will be enacted later this month. Supplies for this task will be obtained by Lee Bailey and Bill Staley.
New Business
Members present discussed the news that the Kenny World property is up for sale. This 25+ acre site near Ocala has been a popular venue for major Buzzards soaring contests. The property may be purchased by a member of the local OWLS club. The Buzzards may consider leasing it from the purchaser for our events.
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:35 AM.
