Minutes for October 2021 Meeting
This meeting was held on September 2 at the Ft Christmas field and called to order at about 10 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 17 members were present.
Minutes of the September meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer’s report was presented by Lewis Gray.
Old Business
There were 9 entrants in the ALES contest last weekend.
Raed asked for CD help for the upcoming Tangerine contest. Events are ALES, RES, and 2 days of Thermal Duration.
New Business
Thanks were offered to Lee and Keith for keeping the field mowed.
Raed mentioned that applications for AMA contest sanctions include items described in the Knowledge Test. One of the application questions asked what maximum altitude we are planning to use; our answer is 1200 feet.
We noted the FAA is releasing an updated Advisory Circular that affects our RC operations. It includes a process for clubs to designate approved flying sites.

Annual Tangerine contest at the Ocala OWLS field on Nov 19-21
