Minutes for October 2020 Meeting
This meeting was held on October 3 at the Ft Christmas field and called to order at 10:05 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately eighteen members were present.
Minutes of the August meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer’s report was presented by Lewis Gray, there are 33 members on the club roster.
Old Business
The ALES contest held here last weekend drew 16 pilots. Net income to the club was $193.
The F3K Team Selection trials to be held at our Fort Christmas field next February may be too constrained by the new No Fly Zone restrictions. CD Mickey Nowell may seek another venue.
No update available yet on mowing for the college field.
New Business
First day of a 2 day F3RES contest will be held here on Saturday, October 17. The second day is scheduled for October 31.
Tangerine will be conducted at Kenny World in November. CD qualified helpers are needed to help run the events.
Our county parks coordinator, Trudy, is retiring. In appreciation for her support of our activities, members approved a gift of $150.
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:20 AM and an informal swap meet commenced.
