Minutes for February 2019 Meeting
This meeting was held on February 9 at the Fort Christmas field and called to order at 10:30 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Five members were present.
Minutes of the January meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer’s report was presented by Lewis Gray, 29 members have paid dues so far.
Old Business
County park services plan to put orange balls on the electric wires on the Christmas field.
New Business
Members flying at the college field must contact campus security when arriving and leaving. Call 407 971-5000 (or 5020) then select Option 4 which is the Security Office on the main Sanford campus. Identify yourself as an RC glider club member on the Oviedo campus using the ‘back’ field. The duty officer may not understand why you are calling so just patiently explain that the Oviedo security people asked us to report in. Raed will send out an advisory email regarding this policy to all members.
