This meeting was held on Sept 5 at the Oviedo college field. The meeting was called to order at 10:00 am by president Raed Elazzawi. 9 members were present.
Minutes of the July meeting were read and approved. There was no meeting in August.
Treasurer’s report was presented by Lewis Gray. There are 30 paid members on the roster.
Old Business
No progress on sign for the Christmas entrance gate to explain flying area limitations. Lee Bailey will pursue this.
Raed installed a ‘For Sale’ forum on the club web site.
Tangerine planning is proceeding. Event descriptions and sign up link are posted on RC Groups. Contest directors are: Don Grisham (Friday ALES/RES); Tom Galloway (Saturday Unlimited); Rick Eckel (Sunday Unlimited). Trophies will be made by Jody Miller. Shirts and other items are in work.
New Business
Raed mentioned that AMA dues are going up after Sept 14 so renew prior to that to save money.
Three Buzzards are participating in the F3J Team Select event in Dallas – Dillon and John Graves, and Jody Miller.
