Minutes for July 2023 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on July 1 at the Ft Christmas field and called to order at about 1000 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 11 members were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the June meeting were read and approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There was no old business to discuss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tangerine 50 is coming up in November and the events will be: ALES on Friday and F5J on Saturday and Sunday. A suggestion was made to include F3RES also. Allan Parsons is researching memento items and is considering Tilley-type hats with an event logo. Other members agreed to assist in locating good sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raed mentioned that the AMA has set up a petition for members to advocate raising the FAA imposed altitude ceilings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 1020 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
