Minutes for June 2022 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on June 4 at the Ft Christmas field and called to order at about 1045 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Six members were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the May meeting were read and approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was presented by Lewis Gray, there are 37 members on the club roster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Club shared sponsorship with the Pompano group for an ALES contest on 14 May. Twelve flyers participated and the club made $60.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lewis reported on a discussion with a former member, Jack Malkie, who is seeking a Seminole County recreation site to include potential RC activities. Location of such a site is unknown at this time but we expressed willingness to discuss options. We also discussed other possibilities for sites around Seminole County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Improvements to the runway for the power flying area were discussed. Lee Bailey agreed to research sources for a heavy roller for smoothing the runway surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 11:35 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
