Minutes for May 2022 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on May 7 at the Ft Christmas field and called to order at about 1000 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 8 members were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the April meeting were read and approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All members present verified that they have complied with the FAA requirements of registration number on each airplane and completion of the TRUST exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Members were advised to call the park office whenever the gate locks are out of sequence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our treasurer Lewis Gray is retiring, and Doug Leonard will take over this position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New member Rob Blakeslee was voted in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upcoming events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ALES at Christmas field on May 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mid South soaring event in South Carolina on 27-29 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rocket group planning launches for May 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
