Minutes for February 2022 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on February 12 at the Ft Christmas field and called to order at about 1005 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 18 members were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the January meeting were read and approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was presented by Lewis Gray.\u00a0 \u00a0There are 34 members on the roster currently.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Club members were again encouraged to attend the major DLG contest scheduled for 25-27 Feb at the LARKS field near Tavares, FL<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Discussion of club funds was continued. Consensus is to keep the annual dues the same as now. Club officials are seeking appropriate conservative investment vehicles for reserve funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
AED \u2013 Wayne Collier investigated how the club could get access to this emergency equipment and determined that purchase was not necessary. Instead, we could call 911 since the local fire house is nearby, or we could call the Park Office to bring theirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A summary of contact information for emergency situations at the field will be developed by the club safety officer, Doug Leonard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raed reminded everybody to spin the gate lock numbers when locking up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:25 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
