Minutes for December\n2021 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on December 18 at the Ft Christmas field\nand called to order at about 10 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 16\nmembers were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the November meeting were read and approved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tangerine contest went OK, but\nincome was lower than previous times. \nThe club netted about $290 plus another $700 from the sale of a Supra\nthat was donated by Rick Eckel. CD Raed\nexpressed gratitude for all the help provided by Bill Staley and all the other\nhelpers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Toys for Tots contest collected 93\ntoys at the field. A club member donated\n$200 to buy more and so the total donation came to 112 toys. Raed sent a picture and info on the charity\ndonation to the park management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Safety issues: We will mount a first aid kit in the barn near\nthe lawn mower. We plan to add a fire\nextinguisher there also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shared income: When other Florida soaring clubs hold\ncontests using our field and\/or equipment we will retain a portion of the\ncontest fee income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gifts to park staff: The club provided Olive Garden $25 gift cards\nto the park staff as Christmas gifts in appreciation for their support of our\nactivities. Thanks to Lee Bailey for\ndelivering these cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dues for 2022 are now due.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:20\nAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
