Minutes for October\n2021 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on September 2 at the Ft Christmas field\nand called to order at about 10 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 17\nmembers were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the September meeting were read and approved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was presented by Lewis Gray.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were 9 entrants in the ALES\ncontest last weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raed asked for CD help for the\nupcoming Tangerine contest. Events are\nALES, RES, and 2 days of Thermal Duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thanks were offered to Lee and\nKeith for keeping the field mowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raed mentioned that applications\nfor AMA contest sanctions include items described in the Knowledge Test. One of the application questions asked what\nmaximum altitude we are planning to use; our answer is 1200 feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We noted the FAA is releasing an\nupdated Advisory Circular that affects our RC operations. It includes a process for clubs to designate\napproved flying sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
