Minutes for April\n2021 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on April 3 at the Ft Christmas field\nand called to order at 10 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately seven members\nwere present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the March meeting were read and approved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was presented by Lewis Gray.\u00a0 There are 38 members on the club roster. Seminole State College has refunded the $800 mowing fee as promised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
An ALES contest (FSS #6) was held at\nthe Ft Christmas field on 27 March. \nFourteen pilots participated under challenging weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Flying areas: Parking area for power flyers must not\nextend too far to the east so as not to encroach on the glider flying\narea. Some sort of reference marking was\ndiscussed such as prominent signs on the far south and north boundary\nfences. Lee Bailey suggested that he may\nhave suitable sign material for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lee announced that the club lawn\nmower repair and refurbishment was complete and no further expenditures are\nplanned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
FSS 7&8 will be held at Kenny\nWorld on April 10 &11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A DLG contest will be held at the\nLARCs field in Tavares on Apr 30 and May 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at 10:25\nAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
