Minutes for October\n2020 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on October 3 at the Ft Christmas field\nand called to order at 10:05 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately eighteen\nmembers were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the August meeting were read and approved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was presented by Lewis Gray, there are 33 members on the club roster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ALES contest held here last\nweekend drew 16 pilots. Net income to\nthe club was $193.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The F3K Team Selection trials to be\nheld at our Fort Christmas field next February may be too constrained by the\nnew No Fly Zone restrictions. CD Mickey\nNowell may seek another venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No update available yet on mowing\nfor the college field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
First day of a 2 day F3RES contest\nwill be held here on Saturday, October 17. \nThe second day is scheduled for October 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tangerine will be conducted at\nKenny World in November. CD qualified\nhelpers are needed to help run the events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our county parks coordinator,\nTrudy, is retiring. In appreciation for\nher support of our activities, members approved a gift of $150.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:20\nAM and an informal swap meet commenced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
