Minutes for September\n2020 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on September 12 at the Ft Christmas field\nand called to order at 10:08 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately twelve\nmembers were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the August meeting were read and approved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bill Staley has been helping a\nnon-member who requested help for his 11 year old child with a new RC\nplane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The F3K Team Selection trials were\nofficially announced. This major DLG\ncompetition event will be held at our Fort Christmas field next February 18-20,\n2021. Support from Buzzards members will be needed to handle contest logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A swap meet may be held in\nconjunction with the next meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
An ALES event will be held at the\nChristmas field on September 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tangerine will be conducted at\nKenny World in November. The property\nhas been sold which makes future use for sailplane contests uncertain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Club web site was off line until an\nissue with renewal of our domain name was resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:25\nAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
