Minutes for November\n2020 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on November 7 at the Ft Christmas field\nand called to order at 10:00 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately eleven\nmembers were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the October meeting were read and approved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second day of our 2 day October\nF3RES was held here on 31 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tangerine contest will be held at\nKenny World on 20-22 November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Toys for Tots soaring contest\nwill be held 12-13 December. Toy\ndonations are welcome at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New member Larry Brown was welcomed\nto the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mowing for the college field was\ndiscussed at length. The college wants\nto charge us $7200\/yr for mowing services which is not affordable. Lee Bailey has been exploring alternatives\nwhere the club arranges the mowing services for our 12 acre field area. Willing workers with the proper cutting\nequipment are hard to find. The likely\nestimate for the next cut is around $900 because the field is now so heavily\novergrown. Subsequent mowings may cost\naround $600. Discussion was tabled with\nthe following points to consider: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
