Minutes for October\n2019 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on October 19 at the Ft Christmas field\nand called to order at 10:20 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Five members were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the September meeting were read and approved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tangerine preparations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Raffle contributions are hard to\nobtain as reported by Lee Bailey. Steve\nB and Lee will continue to search for willing vendors and to work with Graves\nRC for deals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Trophies: Raed is purchasing trophy cups since they are\nless expensive than plaques. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
-FSS#13 ALES held at the Ft\nChristmas field on September 28 had 12 contestants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– FSS #14-15 was at San Felasco on\nOctober 12 (10 flyers) and Oct 13 (7 flyers) . The Buzzards made $75 for the use of club\nequipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upcoming events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– FSS ALES at St Augustine on\nOctober 26-27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– FSS F3RES at Ft Christmas on\nNovember 9-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Club request for marker balls on\nthe power lines over the Ft Christmas field was denied by the county parks\nmanagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 1045\nAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
