Minutes for January\n2019 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on January 12 at the Fort Christmas field\nand called to order at 10:05 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 16 members were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the December 2018 meeting were read and approved.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
F3RES was flown as FSS #1 at Ft\nChristmas Field on 5-6 Jan. This\nsuccessful event included 13 pilots on Saturday and 12 on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Toys for Tots contest in December\ncollected 84 toys. Raed informed the\ncounty parks management of our community service contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was confirmed that In March, F5J\nand F3J events will be flown at the St. Augustine field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We discussed the actions of\ncareless shooters neighboring the college field. Members should inform college security if we\nsee them. Security phone number is 407\n971-5020 which is Sanford central dispatch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Club dues are due in January. Contact Treasurer Lewis Gray for questions\nabout payment method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raed asked the park supervisor,\nTrudy, to put orange balls on the electric wires on the Christmas field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New members John F. and Jim Bradley\nwere voted in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:20\nAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
