Minutes for December\n2018 Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting was held on December 8 at the Fort Christmas field\nand called to order at 10:15 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 9 members and 1 guest were\npresent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minutes of the November 2018 meeting were read and approved.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thanks were expressed to all who\nwere involved with the sale and removal of the sheds at the college field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raed reported that Tangerine was a\ngreat success and one of the best we have had in a few years. There were 92 total participants over the\nthree days; 23 in ALES, 15 in RES, 30 in Saturday Unlimited, and 24 in Sunday\nUnlimited. Income from fees and the\nraffle was good and will be summarized in a future treasurer\u2019s report. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Business <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upcoming events are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Toys for Tots FSS 6 at Ft\nChristmas Field 15-16 Dec. This is our\ncommunity service event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-F3RES at Ft Christmas Field on 5-6\nJan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Jody mentioned planning for F3J\nand possible F5J locally in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Club dues are due in January. Contact Treasurer Lewis Gray for questions\nabout payment method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Members were cautioned about a\ncareless shooter neighbor near the college field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Access to the runway area at the\nold Christmas field was investigated by former member Richard Baker. This revealed that the county does not want\nany flying near the new soccer fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:40 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
