Minutes for February 2017 Meeting<\/p>\n
This meeting was held February 4 at the Christmas field. The meeting was called to order at 10:12 AM by president Raed Elazzawi. Approximately 10 members were present.<\/p>\n
The Treasurer\u2019s report was presented by Lewis Gray. The current balance is $7612.99. Twenty-three members have paid dues for 2017 and approximately 15 more are expected.<\/p>\n
Old Business<\/u><\/p>\n
No updates were available on construction plans for the sports complex to be located in our sailplane area.<\/p>\n
New Business <\/u><\/p>\n
County mowed the grass area north of the runway at the request of the Rocket Club.<\/p>\n
Upcoming contests include Gainesville DLG on 18\/19 February, and FSS2 in St. Augustine on 11\/12 March.<\/p>\n
A group of RC glider fliers plan to meet on 12 February at a potential flying site in a Palm Bay undeveloped housing area.<\/p>\n
The meeting was adjourned at about 10:25.<\/p>\n
