\nMeeting Minutes for Jan 12th, 2013<\/p>\n
The January club meeting was held at the SSC field by president Raed Elazzawi, around 10:15 am with the following members present:
\nLewis Gray, Lee Bailey, Don Dobbs, John Dufrane, David Veatch, Chris Manley, and Raed Elazzawi.
\nAlso present were: Tom Robinson, Doug Leonard, and Michael O’Hara
\nMeeting minutes from the Dec meeting were presented.
\nLewis Gray reported the current balance
\nOld business
\nRaed reported that FSS # 8 “Toys for Tots” event was a great success with 37 toys collected and picked up by the Marine Corps reserves in a “Duce and half” truck, with pictures and reports posted on Rcgroups. Raed also said this is going to be repeated in the future.
\nNew business
\nOrange County FL RC Association club:
\nSailplane flying is available at the new field to members that have joined the new club, a copy of the “Facility Use Agreement” is needed to be on the property and is available thru Raed. A lease is currently under review by the County.
\nTom Robinson said he would send in club dues.
\nDavid Veatch has rejoined the Buzzards. After an absence of 15 years!
\nDoug Leaonard was voted in as a Buzzard. Returning to the hobby since the 80’s!
\nMichael O’Hara showed interest in becoming a member.<\/p>\n
Meeting adjourned around 11AM
